Engage Me è il titolo della 75° edizione del Prix Italia, che promuove il coinvolgimento di ciascuno nella lotta al cambiamento climatico, e la responsabilità individuale, oltre che collettiva, per uno sviluppo sostenibile. Anche in considerazione della crisi energetica e dell'impegno che la Regione Puglia sta attuando per conseguire la decarbonizzazione e il raggiungimento dell'obiettivo n. 7 dell'Agenda ONU 2030 (assicurare a tutti l'accesso a sistemi di energia economici, affidabili, sostenibili e moderni) la sfida che lanciamo agli studenti universitari per la 75° edizione del Prix Italia è sulla Sostenibilità Energetica.
Il Prix Italia è perciò lieto di coinvolgere nel progetto YLab 2023, per il secondo anno, le Università della Regione Puglia che vorranno aderire. Chiediamo agli studenti di immaginare dei progetti per contribuire alla Sostenibilità Energetica, di carattere ingegneristico, socio/politico o di ricerca e di tipo comunicativo - mediatico.
Il focus è sull'utilizzo efficiente delle fonti energetiche, con l'obiettivo di ridurre l'inquinamento, lo spreco, lo sfruttamento di combustibili fossili e dell'energia non rinnovabile, nonché di promuovere l'utilizzo di energia pulita per garantire anche la produzione di cibo sicuro e sostenibile, aumentando la sicurezza alimentare nella sua accezione più ampia, ossia come la possibilità di garantire a tutti una dieta variegata con il consumo di cibi nutrienti, sicuri e convenienti, in un'ottica di sviluppo sostenibile al fine di favorire una crescita economica inclusiva e volta a ridurre la denutrizione.
Engage Me is the title of the 75th edition of the Prix Italia, promoting everyone's involvement in the fight against climate change, and responsibility both individual and collective for a sustainable development. Also in consideration of the energy crisis and the Puglia Region commitment to achieve decarbonisation and objective no. 7 of the UN Agenda 2030 (ensuring everyone access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy systems), the challenge to university students for the 75th edition of the Prix Italia is on Energy Sustainability.
Prix Italia is therefore pleased to involve in the YLab 2023 project, for the second year, the Universities of the Puglia Region that wish to join. We ask students to conceive projects to contribute to Energy Sustainability, whether they are engineering, social/political or research and media communication.
The focus will be on the efficient use of energy sources, with the aim of reducing pollution, waste, the exploitation of fossil fuels and non-renewable energy, as well as promoting the use of clean energy to ensure production of safe and sustainable food, thus increasing food security in its broadest sense, i.e. by guaranteeing everyone a varied diet with the consumption of nutritious, safe and convenient foods, from a sustainable development perspective in order to promote inclusive economic growth and to reduce malnutrition.
