Ich will alles – Hildegard Knef (I Want It All – Hildegard Knef)

Author, Direction: Luzia Schmid. Editing: Yana Höhnerbach. Producer: Thomas Kufus. Producing Organisation: zero one Film. Coproducing Organisation: rbb

Hildegard Knef: world star, style icon, grand dame of chanson, last German diva, opinionated, controversial, mirror and antithesis of her time. As an actress, singer and author, she celebrated international successes, experienced crushing defeats and was creatively active for more than five decades. Born in 1925, she became part of the German public eye at the age of 20 and never left it again. Her favourite topic – being successful, failing, reinventing herself again and again and, against all odds, getting up again and again – makes her an expert on survival. In the form of a cinematic autobiography, "I Want It All" presents the image of a highly talented, ambitious, laconic and astute woman who showed the world how to survive fame and defeat.

Presented by: Luzia Schmid, Director

Swiss director Luzia Schmid studied television and film directing at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. She has been working as a freelance documentary filmmaker since 2001. Her work has won numerous awards, including three Grimme Prizes, and her films have been screened at national and international film festivals (including the Berlinale, HotDocs, and IDFA). Luzia has two daughters; she lives and works with her family in Cologne.

Oliviero Toscani. Chi mi ama mi segua (Oliviero Toscani. Whoever Loves Me, Follow Me)

Screenplay: Fabrizio Spucches, Mariaromana Casiraghi. Direction: Fabrizio Spucches. Sound Track: Rodrigo D'Erasmo. Editing: Mariaromana Casiraghi. Photography: Francesco Terni. Producing Organisation: Sky Italia. Coproducing Organisations: TIWI, AdLine Entertainment, in collaboration with Cucù

"Oliviero Toscani. Whoever Loves Me, Follow Me" explores the life, the thought and the artistic legacy of one of the most influential Italian photographers of the twentieth century. Through an intimate and surprising account and exceptional, previously unseen testimonies, the film conveys the complexity of an author who turned photography: into a civic language, able to leave its mark on social mores, on politics and on the collective imagination. Director Fabrizio Spucches, who worked alongside Toscani for more than ten years, gathered and put in order the master's vast private archive: images, videos and unpublished materials that now become the living source of a story in which memory and the present intertwine. The portrait is enriched by the perspectives of figures who lived and worked with Toscani: Patti Smith, Fran Lebowitz, Luciano Benetton, Nicolas Ballario, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Vittorio Moretti. More than a film, it is a journey into the vision of an artist who challenged conventions and opened new paths for visual communication: a work that invites us to question the power of images and their role in society today.
